Tara M. Lambert, DBA, MBA, CPA, has built a career in academia and accounting, bringing her extensive experience into the classroom as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. Since becoming a licensed CPA in Washington in 1997, Lambert has dedicated herself to education and professional practice, culminating in earning a doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2018.
Before joining Whitworth University in 2013, Lambert worked in various roles across the non-profit, retail, and farming sectors for 20 years, gaining a broad perspective on accounting practices in different industries. In her teaching, she covers a wide range of subjects, including managerial accounting, cost accounting, intermediate accounting, and auditing, reflecting her comprehensive expertise in the field.
Outside of her professional commitments, Lambert enjoys engaging with the outdoors, traveling, and spending quality time with her family, balancing her academic and personal life. Her contributions to both her students and the broader accounting community highlight her commitment to excellence in accounting education and practice.
